Refund policy
Final Sale Items / Return Exceptions / Non-returnable Items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), signed items, downloaded digital items (such as ebooks, audiobooks, digital planners, pdfs), and personal care goods (such as personal wellness and beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Eligibility and Return Window
Because of the print-on-demand nature of the shop, there are certain limitations on refunds and returns that align with the distributors' refund and return policies.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. You will only be able to return reshipments due to quality or manufacturing issues, and a picture of the damaged item will need to be provided.
The deadline for physical item return acceptance is 30 calendar days from the date of receipt, meaning you will need to start a return at least 10 calendar days prior to the 30 calendar day deadline so that we have time to evaluate the return and submit it to the distributor for acceptance. Processing times will vary by distributor.
If the package was lost in the mail, you will need to make an inquiry to the carrier first. If it is not resolved with the carrier, then start a reshipment by contacting mail@laurenleemerewether.com for a single complementary reshipment. If the address was entered incorrectly, a new order will need to be placed.
For those residing in Brazil, there is a 7-day window for return acceptance.
To start a return, you can contact me at mail@laurenleemerewether.com. Returns started by phone will not be honored. Please note that physical returns will need to be sent to the distributor. The cost to ship returns plus a 2% restocking fee, unless for quality issues or manufacturing errors, will be deducted from the total refund amount. If you prefer an LLMBooks gift card for the full amount, please state so in your return request.
If your return is accepted, the distributor will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please be sure to include a picture of the damage, quality issue, or manufacturing error.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
If you bought a digital item and have not yet downloaded it, email mail@laurenleemerewether.com with the email used to purchase the digital item for a one-time complimentary exchange by means of a gift card in the amount of the purchased digital item to be applied toward the item desired.
Note that if you download the purchased digital item, no exchange will be made as there is no way to exchange them.
The exchange window is open for 30 calendar days.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. For residents in the European Union, the distributor can refuse returns at its sole discretion.
Refunds
You must email mail@laurenleemerewether.com to request a refund. Phone refund requests will not be honored. The following parameters will be enforced for refunds:
If you download digital items, no refund will be made as there is no way to return them. I hope you understand.
If the digital items are delivered to the email entered, but you cannot find them, you must first contact me at mail@laurenleemerewether.com to validate the email the digital items were delivered to and attempt to access them. If they cannot be accessed even after help from BookFunnel, the distributor, I will refund them regardless of how many days following the purchase date.
For non-downloaded digital items, ebooks, or audiobooks, start your return by emailing me with the email used to purchase the digital items within 7 calendar days. No refunds are given after 7 calendar days except for the abovementioned situation.
For physical items, I will notify you once the distributor has received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded less return shipping costs and restocking fees on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since I've approved your return, please contact me at mail@laurenleemerewether.com. If you elected for an LLMBooks gift card for the full refund amount, the gift card will be available by the next business day.
